First Engineering Widget

As I discussed in my first blog, the purpose of this blog is to discuss new and innovative engineering technologies. The engineering field has just made a huge step in a new direction with the release of the first engineering widget ever, developed by Engineering Express. Now I know that we have all seen unit converters, but that is not what I am talking about. Engineering Express has developed a widget that performs engineering calculators based on the ASCE 7-05 standard. Engineering Express has been developing webulators (web + calculators = webulators) for the last few years, however with the release of their new ASCE 7-05 pressure calculator widget, they have entered into a new era.

Engineering has always been one of those fields that can only been performed by a highly trained individual. However, with the concept of webulators, Engineering Express has made it possible for any individuals to perform engineering calculations with the click of a button. Their webulators consist on drop down boxes and sliders, making it easy for users to edit the parameters.
